SCSD Partners with AECOM at the 2024 Joint Engineer Training Conference

This May, Southern Cross Service Dogs had the unique opportunity to partner with AECOM at the 2024 Joint Engineer Training Conference (JETC) held in Florida. Our collaboration highlighted our shared commitment to supporting the veteran community and showcased the profound impact service dogs have on their lives.
AECOM provides comprehensive solutions for government and defense projects, served as a titanium sponsor for this year’s conference. At the heart of this year’s conference was the Society of American Military Engineers’ mission to tackle national security infrastructure-related challenges, aligning seamlessly with our goal to empower veterans through specialized service dog training.
Throughout the conference, SCSD was featured at AECOM’s booth, where we introduced attendees to our team. Veterans and conference-goers had the chance to meet our service dogs in training!
We are immensely grateful to AECOM for this incredible opportunity to share our passion and mission with a wider audience, further enabling us to serve those who have served us.
